Katie continues to await the results of the adoption process for Jackson. She shared, “It takes patience beyond what I feel I have sometimes. It makes me and those who support me angry some days. But encounters/relationships with the children make it worth the hard times.”

Looking back at her journey, it sounds unbelievable that this happened with the adoption of Grayson. If this did not happen, the 3 siblings would not have been reunited. “It is my greatest adventure and I can’t imagine my life without this experience,” she said.
