Chris Benoit, the man behind the mask, had long and successful wrestling career, spanning 22 years. According to industry journalist Dave Meltzer, Benoit was “one of the top 10, maybe even the top 5, all-time greats.” Benoit won 22 championship titles, including multiple world championship wins, and headlined several pay-per-view events for WWE. He was still at the height of his career when his life ended in a really disturbing way.

Hulk Hogan is a legend, but he also wore a mask before WrestleMania XIX. His ring name at the time was Mr. America. However, he was more popular when not wearing a mask, so he took it off. He is widely considered the most recognized wrestler in the world and arguably the most popular from the ‘80s. He was elected to the WWE Hall of fame twice, in 2005 and in 2020. Even when he was still wrestling, he already started his extensive acting career. He starred in different movies and TV shows and appeared in commercials and a video game. He also tried his hand at music, fronting the band called The Wrestling Boot Band.
