A lioness’ major role in the pride is to hunt and care for her offspring. Humans, on the other hand, are prone to be surprised by animals. One photographer was reminded of how photographers come to meet species with particular ties when a lioness approached a young foal. While a lioness was hunting and came upon a little deer, a photographer was able to record some weird moments on-camera… We all know that lions can and will hunt deer when the occasion arises, but the lioness had other plans!
