Sadly, there was more tragedy awaiting the Onassis family. It did not end with the death of Ari Onassis and the estrangement of the former first lady. In 1988, Christina died of cardiac arrest at the age of 37. Jackie herself passed away at 64 years old, which is still pretty young in our books. In 1994, she contracted a form of cancer known as Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
