If the truth be told, over the years there have been many wrestlers that adopted this name. But it was actually this wealthy Syrian wrestler that set the stage for wrestling as we know it. He was notorious for the way he held his contenders in submission even after the referee counted down. He often used the ropes to get leverage, which is a strategy used by many wrestlers today.

With his excellent “Five Star Frog Splash” finishing move, it is difficult not to enjoy the entertainment of Rob Van Dam. He is a pleasure to watch thanks to his strong and impressive high martial arts skills and acrobatic moves. In previous years he had some matters that involved law enforcement and substance abuse, this stopped him from reaching his full potential. Even though he had a chance to headline a WWE match.
