Claudia felt the drive to work was incredibly slow. She quickly searched her phone for notifications after hitting the parking lot. Her alerts loaded steadily, and she kept her breath while waiting. Was J’Ann having a problem? She eventually released her updates and saw her niece’s photo sent.

From the thumbnail photo, Claudia could see her baby. Her subconscious automatically felt that there might have been something terrible. It was a tiny glimpse, but she could not identify what was really in the picture. Her concerns were rendered greater by the entire snapshot that was taken to be loaded forever. Claudia was furious and anxious. She had second thoughts on getting her daughter to be monitored by a teenager.
