Oranges and Orange Juice
When people think of oranges and orange juice, they think of the vitamin C contents, but did you know that oranges and orange juice also contain high amounts of potassium? Some good substitutes are cranberries, grapes, and apples and their juices as they have lower levels of potassium.

Pickles, Olives, and Relish
Cured or pickled foods, such as like relish, olives, and pickles, typically have very high salt contents since salt is part of the pickling or curing process. One pickle actually contains over 300 mg of sodium while five green pickled olives contain roughly 195 mg of sodium. Although reduced-sodium options for relish, olives, and pickles are available in many grocery stores, keep in mind that reduced-sodium options still contain high amounts of sodium.
