A Little Paranoid
With all the giggling in the back of the restaurant, Daniel got a little paranoid that the employees messed with his food. He wondered if he was rude to them or if he had given them any reason to serve a spit sandwich. Brushing off the irrational worry, Daniel made his way back to the car and handed the food over to his girlfriend. He also didn’t mention his experience inside the restaurant. They both began eating, and didn’t really look inside the bag carefully.

Before long, the pair finished everything — all of the nuggets and fries. Daniel was so full he couldn’t eat another bite. Balling up the paper bag, he went to throw it in the trash can at the parking lot. However, he remembered that he needed the receipt. He had been keeping on top of his personal budgeting lately and was doing pretty well. Daniel opened up the bag to get the receipt but he also found something else.
