Unprofessional Behavior
In addition to posting the ticket on Twitter, Daniel also called out the restaurant for their unprofessional behavior. Daniel told the server Jordan his name, but they still decided to identify Daniel by their opinion of his fashion sense and wrote “ugly sweater” on the ticket. “It was NOT MY PLEASURE TO EAT CHIC-FIL-A TODAY,” Daniel tweeted as a reference to the trademark sign off of the chain, “my pleasure.” However, he didn’t expect that his Goodwill sweater would be a sensation online.

Daniel and his girlfriend never anticipated to get a response like this. Plenty of mixed feelings were shared about the incident, which ended up leaving the Twitterverse divided. There were users who complimented the sweater, but there were also some who agreed with the cashier, calling it ‘ugly’. Some users even criticized the size of the order that Daniel got. He quickly corrected them, and explained that the 30 pieces of nuggets were shared between him and his girlfriend.
