He had already been bullied in school, and that even now in the park, he was pushed into the corner by this group of terrible teenagers. Fortunately, somebody else was observing the whole scenario in the park. The individual would hopefully help Joey out of such chaos.

It Escalated Quickly
As they took the ball from Joey, the group of teens were having a good time and had no interest in giving it back. Things could escalate quickly, that being said since no one stepped up to take action. Regrettably, though, for outsiders, situations only appeared fine because it only seemed as if the children were trying to play.
