Amy Carlson
In 2018, the actress took to Instagram to confirm that she was leaving Blue Bloods. On the show, Linda was killed off in a chopper crash. Amy Carlson eventually explained that she decided to leave the show because she was hoping to move on with her acting career. A lot of fans felt upset about the fact that her death on the show happened between seasons. Carlson said that Donny Wahlberg, who was her onscreen husband, was a “generous” guy and had been “sweet about her departure.” The actress also said that she knew it was going to come as a surprise not only to her fans but also to her castmates. But her contract had already expired, and she wanted to pursue other things in life.
Topher Grace
It is hard to imagine That 70’s Show without Topher Grace, but we had no choice when he wanted to leave. He asked for the team to write off Eric, his character, so that he can focus on his film career. The filming schedule for the sitcom made it hard for him to acquire movie gigs, after all. His departure on the show led to a drop in ratings. After he left, Ashton Kutcher followed suit. The sitcom was canceled not long after that. Over the years, Grace has appeared in movies such as Take Me Home Tonight and Spider-Man 3, so it looked like his gamble paid off in the end!
