Wil Wheaton

During his time on Star Trek: The Next Generation, the actor brought Wesley Crusher to life. He became more of a central character as the seasons went on. Fans enjoyed the character, and Wil Wheaton enjoyed a loyal fan base thanks to his portrayal of it. After some time, however, he decided that he wanted to explore new roles. He admitted, “I left Star Trek: The Next Generation when I was 18-years old and initially I thought it was a really smart business career move. In some ways it was and in more ways it wasn’t.” Sadly, his career did not really take off in the way that he was hoping. However, it did see a resurgence of sorts when he was cast to play himself in Big Bang Theory.

Chevy Chase

You have probably noticed the fact that plenty of stars leave projects because they either want a higher salary or to work on other things. However, Chevy Chase decided to leave Saturday Night Live because of a girl! He was one of the original cast members of the show, so people were shocked at his departure. We do not know about you, but we fully support him because of his epic reason for this move. “I left for a girl that I was in love with,” the comedian explained later on. “It had nothing to do with lucrative film deals awaiting me. I didn’t make a movie for three years. It was just a lot of bunk…I was very much in love with a girl who just would not leave California.”
