He told her that she should not be out there, and she tried to reason with him. There was no time for her to waste since she had to go to work as soon as possible. After all, she needed the money to provide for her family. In the end, she knew that there was no use arguing with a man of authority.

Jaylesya was quiet as they drove down the roads. She still had no clue where he was planning to bring her. The entire time, she felt nervous and brought her hands up to her chest in anxiety. When she realized that she must have seen nervous, she put them on top of lap instead. What on earth was going on here anyway? Was he taking her in for questioning? Why did he not explain what was happening to her? The suspense was making her feel anxious. He kept his eyes on the road the entire time, however.
