Even though she went through a harrowing childhood, Joy-Ann Reid worked hard to achieve her dreams. She was orphaned at the age of 17 but moved back from Colorado to the East Coast to study at Harvard University. She has a degree in visual art and documentation in film. At the beginning of her career, she interned at a TV station in southern Florida. She has since enjoyed a number of roles in both radio and TV. In 2014, she joined the MSNBC team and went on to host and anchor a show of her own: The Reid Report. It is hard to deny how much charisma and talent she has!
