In 1953, she tied the knot with an obstetrician by the name of James McNulty and remained married to him until he died in 2007. After the wedding, she decided to raise their children and stopped taking on as much work as she used to.

Most people know Christopher Plummer for his performance in The Sound of Music. Over the course of his career, he became a household name thanks to his good looks and acting skills. We are not at all surprised to hear that he has won many awards. The actor even bagged the Canadian Screen Award for Lifetime Achievement. At the age of 82, he also brought home an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Beginners. This made him the oldest person to win this award. Acting aside, he has also worked as a scriptwriter for stage plays, TV shows, and concert halls. Fun fact: he has been awarded several doctorates from various universities. He definitely deserves them!
