Silica Gel Packets
We usually find these packets in shoeboxes or a new purse because they keep shoes and bags clean and fresh until we start using them. The stuff inside the packets is called a “desiccant.” It keeps moisture out and the little packets can actually absorb up to 50 percent of humidity from their environment! You can use these silica gel packets if you ever drop your phone in some water. Ditch the rice buckets.
Colorful Toothpaste
The blue, red, and white stripes in Aquafresh toothpaste might have made you think it was simply patriotic toothpaste but the different color stripes actually have a purpose. The blue stripe indicates that the toothpaste freshens your breath, the red stripe is for plaque control, and of course, the white stripe cleans your mouth. Truly an all-around product if you ask us.
