Their diet primarily consists of krill – they actually eat as much as 40 million of these in a single day! On average, the heart of a blue whale weighs 400 pounds, the largest of any animal.
Gary The Capybara Is The Largest Pet Rodent
Next on our list the biggest pet rodent in the world. Gary the Capybara stands at around the same size as a medium dog. Now a beloved member of his family, he was adopted in Venezuela by Richard Loveman and Melanie Typaldos! They brought him home to Texas after falling in love with him on a trip. Described as a fast learner, Gary likes to spend his days in the swimming pool. Ms. Typaldos has even said that the capybara can stand up, shake hands, jump, and turn in circles on command.
