A Thyroid Problem Made Bandit The Fattest Raccoon Ever
The guy bellow is Bandit. Thanks to a thyroid problem, he blew up and became the hugest raccoon in the world. At 75 pounds, the Guinness Book of World Records hailed him the fattest of his species. Even though he has health problems, he was adopted by a pack of wolves until he was taken into a human home. He was adopted by a woman and lived in Palmerton, Pennsylvania until his tragic death. Not long after he became an internet sensation, his condition became fatal. Perhaps you even saw him at his favorite ice cream joint Food Network at one point! He also had a quick stint on the Food Network.

Big Jake Is A Huge Horse That Weighs 2,600 Pounds
In 2012, Big Jake made it to the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest horse in the world. He stands at 6 feet 9 inches and weighed 2,600 pounds. Jerry Gilbert, his owner, raised this equine on a farm in Michigan. “He was extremely hard to hold on to when he was young and when I would turn him outside sometimes he would take me with him!” he explained. Big Jake has no problems getting along with other creatures and has fun pulling the wagon. He is so big that he has no choice but to stay in an extra-large stall that is 20×20 feet instead of the standard measurement of 12×12.
