Meet The Biggest Bunnies In The World
Do you know who the longest bunny in the world is? According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the title goes to Darius the bunny at 4 feet 4 inches long. However, his son Jeff is even longer than him by an inch. His daughter Enya, however, is expected to outgrow them in the future. The continental giant bunnies used to be bred for meat, but they are excellent house pets as well. Darius is now so big that his owner Annette Edwards keeps him in a dog crate. It is not cheap to keep him either because he eats more than 700 apples and 2,000 carrots on top of a lot of rabbit food every single year.
Former Runt Of The Litter Now Weighs 245 Pounds
Here is another animal who has made it to the Guinness World Records. Giant George is officially the tallest living dog! From his shoulder to his paw, he measures 3 feet 7 inches. This means that he is almost 7 feet long! He also weighs more than the average Great Dane at 245 pounds. His owners Christie and Dave Nasser said that he was the runt of the litter. On the website, they explained, “Eager to play … this big Great Dane was scared of water, scared of dogs a fraction of his size and, most of all, scared of being alone.”
