According to Rumer, Moore was “very strong.” Rumer shared, “I’ve learned a lot of the integrity that I try to hold for myself and everything that I do and the value that I try and put out in the world [from her].” Moore advised Rumer that “live in whatever your integrity is, and go out to the world and present yourself how you want to present yourself and how you want people to see you.”

After Rumer graduated from high school, the actress decided to enter the University of Southern California. It was the school that her parents wanted her to attend. Unfortunately, after one semester, she decided to drop out. Rather than attending lessons from the University, Rumer had taken acting classes and voice lessons. In the meantime, Rumer was also working at Marc Jacob’s store and did some auditions. Rumer thought University was not her calling.
