However, she did not let her height get in the way of her dreams. Together with other hopeful officers, Sepulveda enlisted at the Police Academy. After the training was over, she had a job! Her post tasked her to patrol the streets of Freeport, Long Island in New York.

Her Chance To Help Others
In 2010, she started a new chapter of her life. We are glad that her passion for the job has not wavered. Seven years after that, Sepulveda told the New York Post what she likes about the job. “It’s because people don’t have to turn to the cops when they call.[ Being a policeman] gave me the chance to give back people who need assistance,” she said.
