Scott Pelley – CBS
Tragically, Scott Pelley did not lose the trust of his viewers but of his peers. “I lost my job at the Evening News because I wouldn’t stop complaining to management about the hostile work environment,” he explained. He said that he approached David Rhodes, the president of the news division, and said: “that this hostile work environment couldn’t go on, for women and men. And he told me if I kept agitating about that internally then I’d lose my job”. If you think this is fascinating, just wait until you see how much these female anchors earn.
Natalie Morales
You must be familiar with Natalie Morales if you watch Today, NBC News, and Dateline. Her enthusiasm for reporting about global relations began in her childhood, probably in part because of her parents. With her father, who had been an air force serviceman, she would go on trips abroad. She joined MSNBC in March 2002 as an anchor of a couple of news shows. She still works as an anchor on the network, and also a reporter for special interest articles.
