Jase’s daughter Mia was born with a cleft palate and lip. It is a condition where a person’s lip does not form completely and fails to attach to the skull. However, it is no cause for worry; the condition is not fatal and can be corrected through surgery. The only downside to it is that the child could have difficulties when it comes to pronouncing certain words and develop a lisp if not treated early.

Jase’s daughter, Mia, underwent surgery to correct her cleft palate in 2014. Both of the parents were quite worried about their daughter who was about to undergo this operation. Fortunately, many of the family’s fans sent their good wishes and support for the family. The couple was extremely touched by the gesture that they decided to put up a charity to help those that have the same condition as Mia.
