The red fox is one smart animal that only goes out at night and stays inside during the day. Sadly, they did not see her over the course of the night. They could only hope she came in the morning.

Western European Fox
In Western Europe, red foxes are the only ones native to the region. On the other hand, the Arctic fox hails from Scandinavia and the corsac fox comes from Russia. Red foxes also happen to be bigger than most.
