In the beginning, it seemed like it was going to be a regular day for the people at the Colorado Spring Fire Department. They had no way of finding out that it was going to be a strange day. This rescue would not go as expected and give the day an interesting twist.

There was nothing unusual about the CSFD receiving a call about animals. It only took them several minutes before they addressed the request. It is common sense that they could help the animals sooner if they got there earlier. However, they had no clue it was going to be a unique case.
