McKinley’s Assassination
In 1901, McKinley was shot twice in his abdomen by anarchist Leon Czolgosz at the Temple of Music in Buffalo, New York. Interestingly, his secretary warned him not to go twice, because they were afraid something like this would happen. Eight days later he was announced dead.
Grover Cleveland – 144
Grover Cleveland, has an IQ of 144, meaning that he was close to being in the top 50% of U.S. president. He served two terms, one from 1885-1889, and another in 1893. He was favored by conservatives for his fiscal policy and interest in political improvement. While serving his second term, he experienced the Panic of 1893, which became a massive economic crisis, and the Pullman Strike of 1894, a huge railroad strike on the national level. His family was one of the first to from Europe to the new world as his forefathers settled in Massachusetts. He is remembered for his incredible public speaking.
