Franklin Pierce – 147.4
Franklin Pierce was the 14th president of the United States and quite a controversial leader. He referred to the abolitionist movement “a fundamental threat to the unity of the nation” and signed the Kansas-Nebraska act, which allowed each state to decide if they agreed on slavery or not. He is pone point above the average president with an IQ of 147.4.
John Tyler – 148
After the demise of William Henry Harrison, John Tyler became 10th president and was the first leader to replace a president who died while serving. Tyler let the states decide on slavery, and other issues and managed to rally up several enemies in Congress. He was very intelligent and had an IQ of 1148, but took a passive position on many issues. He also was the product of the first attempt at impeachment, but it was not passed. Also in terms of international affairs, he negotiated treaties with China and Britain.
