Daniel J. Travanti
Are you familiar with Hill Street Blues? It was a police drama that was on the air for seven seasons. Over the course of the series, it spawned a total of 146 episodes. Daniel J. Travanti took on the role of Captain Furillo on the show. He even earned two Emmys, a Golden Globe, and many nominations for his character portrayal. Even though the show came to a close in 1987, the actor could bring home residual checks. They had since slowed down when shows like CSI, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, and Law & Order entered the scene. Despite everything, a few thousand dollars a year is better than nothing at all! Good for him.

Ricky Gervais
Even though the US version of The Office got more popular, the UK version was here first. In the original, Ricky Gervais brought David Brent to life. The actor said that the show is “the gift that keeps on giving.” This is interesting as the UK version of the show only had two seasons. At any rate, he rakes in as much as a million bucks per year from reruns! His character was the equivalent of Michael Scott, who Steve Carrell brought to life across the pond. Did you know that Gervais actually showed up on the US version of the show? We are sure that fans of the original show were delighted to see him there.
