You might already know that Hank Azaria is a long-time member of The Simpsons cast. He started his tenure all the way back in 1989. The actor has no idea that he would be asked to return to voice Apu after the first couple of seasons. At any rate, it happened. Not only that, but they also asked him to be the voice actor of Chief Wiggum. The app is not the main character, but he has one of the longest tenures on the show! This explains why he gets as much as $10 million a year from the animated TV show’s residuals. That is not bad at all, no matter how you look at it.

Here is one more member of the original cast of Friends. Like the five other main stars, Courteney Cox gets as much as $20 million each year from the residuals. On the show, she brought Monica Geller to life. Her career did not end when the show wrapped up. The actress was also nominated for a Golden Globe with her portrayal of Jules in Cougar Town. Aside from that, she played Gale in a horror movie series called Scream. This was an interesting career move because it was very different from her typical sitcom roles. She recently reunited with Lisa Kudrow on The Ellen Show. The two of them guest-starred on the talk show in February 2019.
