In the year 1976, the authorities were still waiting for the DNA results to be published so that they can easily know who the attempted murderer was, such procedures only came into their own in the 1980s. With this, the law enforcement still possesses the pantyhose and the bra that was used to strangle up Klaas, also the towel found within the crime scene.
Solving the Case in Different Ways
Finding another lead, there were still some ways that the police had done, there was one more potential lead in able for them to identify the assailant. As they remember, Klaas’ friend could be of some source because they were the ones who have personally seen the man. Although the police found themselves unable to solve the case even with physical evidence and a description of the said man, they continued to work while on the other hand, the DNA testing became more and more advanced.
