Sammartino claimed that he got into a fight with Inoki in the ‘70s. He disapproved of the way Inoki behaved in the ring and handled it in a brutal way. Inoki began to fight him on the sideline during a tag team match. The Italian Strongman responded by putting him in a headlock and nearly incapacitating him. They never made up, but the good news was that they never had any other problems either.

Bill Goldberg Versus Steven Regal
Goldberg had been a newbie at WCW. He had a winning streak when he and Steven Regal got scheduled to fight. There are conflicting reports about why Regal went off-script, but he blindsided Goldberg by doing moves the rookie had never seen before. Regal said that the higher-ups instructed him to turn it into a six-minute fight. However, Goldberg was uninformed and failed to put on a good fight for Regal.
