She found a financial partner who wrote an email to speak of how important it was that she get the loan since “her personal assets, which are quite substantial, are located outside the US, some of them in a trust with UBS outside the US.” According to Anna Delvey, she had the money to eventually pay it all back. One more thing she did was promise that she would not cause the firm any embarrassment. In the end, that only turned out to be one more promise she could not keep. Yikes.
