Italy’s Leatherheads
The Gruppo di Intervento Speciale or GIS started as a police unit and was upgraded in 2004 composed of 150 team members. Commander Alfa headed the team in providing security to dignitaries during the G7 Italian Presidency last May and he is the only authorized member to speak in behalf of the team.

South Korea’s White Tigers
The South Korea White Tigers was formed in 1972 following the massacre at the Munich Olympics. This anti-terrorism unit is comprised of about 200 men and women designated with various duties and responsibilities to make sure that the 1988 games being held in Korea was safe.
