Julia had become the talk of the town at William Allen Middle School. She puts on her grey dress every single day of the week. No one understood the reasoning behind this, so everyone began to speculate. Her peers felt concerned. They wondered if she was struggling financially. We are certain that this has happened to her pupils as well. All of us know, however, that teenagers can be ruthless.

Julia could notice all eyes on her, but she just made the decision to do her best at work. She was able to hear whispers and snickers everywhere she went. She also felt that once they noticed the dress, her peers looked at her differently. They acted as if she was a frail individual, but they never brought up the matter with her. At that point, if that was what it took to maintain her job, she was determined to ride it out. By ignoring the elephant in the room, she decided to just keep her head down and stay in her path.
