David Van Auker was really happy with the bargain that he had found. He started to sort and appraise the assets that he had bought for a pittance, but while he was inspecting the items, his eyes kept going back to one specific item. Whenever he looked at it, he felt something that he couldn’t explain. However, he only found out what it was after digging deeper into the mystery.

That evening, after deciding to call it a day, David went back home in Pinos Altos in New Mexico. However, the next day, one of his recently acquired pieces quickly gained a lot of attention. It just so happened that an artist who has a sharp eye walked into Manzanita Ridge Antiques, David’s antique dealership. The person said five words which prompted David to get in touch with the FBI, who then phoned Ron Roseman.
