A month later, Keely was talking to a specialist who was explaining the options available to her. The sight of the consultant’s face was still ingrained in Keely’s brain, but she tried not to focus on it. The doctor calmly explained to her she had a large ovarian mass, and he even looked shocked. No one could have expected to see a cyst this size, even the specialist.
