After the wedding in Skorpios, the couple and the guests boarded his super yacht for the reception. Over the years that they spent with each other, the island was a big part of their lives. It also became one of the six residences that they called their own. Apart from the private island, they also had homes in Athens, Manhattan, New Jersey, and Paris. In 1971, Jackie was photographed naked as she was sunbathing on a beach on the island. The photos came out in Italy and led to public outrage in the US.
