The American Heart Association advocates putting high blood pressure at the top of everyone’s healthcare priorities list. You should always try to avoid it, because anyone can always get it.
Always Check Up On Yourself
If you have not checked your blood sugar, cholesterol, or blood pressure for more than a year, then it is long overdue. It is recommended that you check your cholesterol once in four to six years, your blood glucose once in three years, and your blood pressure every year. Never assume that you aren’t at risk for developing harmful diseases. Even if you look healthy, you still have to monitor your risks for health problems.
