Kristy McNichol spent a lot of days on the movie set when she was young. When she played Letitia Buddy in The Family, she made it big. She has since quit acting, and people believe that her sexuality was related to this decision. She came out of the closet in 2012 and revealed she had already been in a relationship with Martie Allen for over two decades. She’s working as an acting teacher now.

She is married to an opera conductor named Stephen Barlow! They do not have children together, but she and Michael Claydon have a son. She is also a grandmother now!
