MF Doom
Daniel Dumile was a British-American rapper and record producer, best known by his stage name MF Doom or Doom. Dumile became a major figure of underground hip hop in the 2000s, noted for his intricate wordplay, signature metal mask, and “supervillain” stage persona. After his death, variety defined him as one of the “most celebrated, unpredictable and enigmatic figures” of the scene. At the age of 49, the British rapper died on October 31.
Dawn Wells
Wells crowned Miss Nevada in 1959 and portrayed her state in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in the Miss America 1960 pageant. Wells made her debut in Hollywood on ABC’s The Roaring 20s and The New Interns and was featured in TV series episodes such as The Joey Bishop Show, 77 Sunset Strip, Cheyenne, Maverick, and Bonanza. In 1964, she played her signature role as Mary Ann on Gilligan’s Island. Wells died in Los Angeles at the age of 82 on December 30, 2020, due to causes related to COVID-19 during the California pandemic.
