Dave Chappelle

The comedian did not only say goodbye to The Chappelle Show, but he also bid adieu to comedy altogether. He decided to go on a long hiatus so that he could stay with his family in Ohio. He turned down a $50 million contract for two more seasons of the show. Sadly, his decision led to a falling out with his longtime collaborator and former close friend Neal Brennan. We are glad to see that he has since made a successful comeback to the world of comedy. When he talked about his decision to go on hiatus, he said that it was the result of a “crisis of conscience” and called his decision “stupid.”

Fans of Big Bang Theory came to love Sheldon Cooper, who was played by Jim Parsons. The comedy show was a huge hit and remained on the air for twelve seasons. In reality, it was meant to go on for fourteen seasons, but the actor got in touch with creator Chuck Lorre to say that he could not “come back” since it had gotten “too difficult.” Hollywood Reporter said that the shooting schedule of the CBS sitcom was too demanding, and the actor wanted to take a break from it. His departure from the show marked the conclusion of the series, which simply could not go without him. Later on, the actor admitted that he was aware that the network did not want the show to end.
