Exposing Their Belly
A dog who reveals their stomach does so as a sign of respect and submission to their owner, and to be playful of course. The normal response to this is to rub their belly! They will likely repeat this behavior because they like the response. Keep in mind that they also may to do this when they feel like they are in danger by another animal.
