Given how fake WWE was, it’s only natural that a reality show based on the Bella Twins would be fake as well. Nikki and Brie’s partners, John Cena and Daniel Bryan, were featured in the series. Many of the show’s scenarios were clearly fabricated by the producers, and much of the drama between Nikki and John Cena was staged for the cameras.

WAGS quickly became one of E!’s most popular shows, chronicling the lives and dramas of sports stars’ wives. The producers created drama between the women to keep the show interesting for viewers, and the show was heavily reliant on fake scenarios. Even though the marriage breakdowns were genuine, the women’s conversations and rivalry were all made up. There were even women who weren’t dating athletes who were brought on to spice things up.
