Charles was, unfortunately, allegedly livid about the development. In January 2020, according to an anonymous insider, the UK publication The Sun reported that Harry’s announcement made his father and Harry’s brother William, “incandescent with rage.” “Allegedly, Charles and William also think they were “stabbed in the back.” Apparently, with any of his relatives, Harry had not discussed any details of the move. Even though no confirmation of any of this has been given, the reports are not that implausible.

That said, it seems the situation has been resolved after the family discussed the matters. A statement by the queen was released on January 13,. It read, “My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family.
