A Mysterious Image
There was a mysterious image which appeared right behind Prince Charles during the video broadcast. It seemed to be placed in a frame as some kind of monochrome silhouette. It is quite possible, however that somebody has been cut out of the picture. Perhaps this was simply an artistic declaration. Regardless, Twitter immediately got on the case. And needless to say, there soon followed jokes. Many users of Twitter know that jokes are quite common on the platform.

Writer Richard Littler decided to tweet the mysterious frame with a close-up image. He then simply captioned it with “What the…” Then, people began responding to the post. Many shared Photoshopped memes where in the empty space something amusing was replaced. There were pictures of actor Tom Baker and Tiger King star Joe Exotic, for instance, pasted into the void. Even royalties have not been spared. Also placed in space was an unflattering photo of Prince Philip.
