The couple were feeling ostracized, according to an insider who spoke to The Times. It was also said by the unnamed source that Harry and Meghan had “taken the same message from the fact that there were no images among the framed photographs on the Queen’s desk when she delivered her Christmas Day message.”

Of course, things appear to be okay now. Last May 2020, Royal observer Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that the Sussexes had “settled into their [new] lives” in L.A. and were in regular friendly contact, with William in particular. Again, there was no confirmation of any royal’s supposed struggle over this, so we’re not sure if this really happened. What’s more, the problem of missing snaps has not been addressed by anyone from the royal family, so everything about this should be taken with a grain of salt.
