A Good Upbringing
Diana took Harry and William on trips, chose their school, and even allowed them to eat at McDonald’s. Perhaps the most important thing she did was make sure that she encouraged a sense of responsibility in her children and raised them without feeling entitled. They visited a homeless shelter with their mother when Harry and William were young. Also, she expected her kids to be kind to everyone they met there.

Charitable Efforts
Diana’s work appears to have paid off. As her children grew into adulthood, it became apparent that the priorities of William and Harry in life included charitable efforts. One of Harry’s efforts has been focused on fighting against HIV and AIDS, which is supported by his mother when she was alive. In 2006, Harry was working with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to set up Sentebale, a charity that helps children with HIV.
