Half Belt On Jackets
Originally developed for military men, this style is commonly seen on pea coat and trench coats. In the past, the half belt was for gathering the extra material found in oversized coats (which doubled as blankets) that men in the military used. The belt enabled the soldiers to walk freely. At one point, the half belt had real use, but these day, it is simply a fashion trend!
