Winter was, without a doubt, completely incorrect! The movie was a big success. He returned to acting two years later, co-starring with Keanu Reeves in the sci-fi film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. The film went on to become a classic, with two sequels. It also spawned a new breed of slang for teenagers. You’d think Winter would prefer to keep acting after such a good run, but he didn’t.

Winter was burnt out by stardom despite his performance. He finally made the decision to take a longer break from acting. He then began directing documentaries on a variety of topics, including children in Hollywood, file sharing, and tax havens. Maybe you’ve seen the follow-up, Bill & Ted Face the Music. He’s just a part of that. After all, the acting bug could still be in Winter.
