Vermont – 26.6% Obesity Rate
Unlike the rest of the country, Vermont is actually doing pretty well when it comes to obesity levels. The bar is so low that this hardly means anything. From 2013 to 2014, the obesity rate of the state hardly changed. These days, one in four adults in Vermont are obese and suffer from related conditions. It is doing better than the other states somehow, but that does not mean that it is bad.

Washington – 28.3% Obesity Rate
Even though Washington boasts a high rate of adult obesity, it looks like there is hope for it in the future. The rates of obesity and other conditions are lower than the national average. However, it is worth noting that diabetes and hypertension are in the middle of it all. Nearly 11.9 percent of kids aged 10 to 17 in the state have obesity. This is one of the lowest figures for this in the country!
